Northdoor plc announces new CEO and Deputy CEO roles.
James Cherry has been announced as the new CEO at London-based IT consultancy Northdoor plc.
David Ballard, the previous CEO, will take on a new role as Deputy CEO and remain within the business, involved in several key initiatives throughout 2024 and beyond.
James has been at Northdoor for nearly 20 years, joining the business as a Consultant and Head of Technology in 2005. Ten years later, he was promoted to Chief Technology Officer before taking on the Deputy Chief Executive Officer role.
On taking on the CEO role, James commented:
“I am honoured and excited to announce that I am stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer at Northdoor. This is both a privilege and a responsibility that I embrace with great enthusiasm and commitment.
Throughout my time here, I have gained invaluable insights and knowledge from both our current team and the incredible colleagues and friends who have since moved on to new challenges. All have played a crucial role in shaping my journey and the success of Northdoor.

Although David Ballard is stepping back from the CEO role, he remains very much within the business, continuing to contribute to the growth and success of Northdoor, as well as contributing to several new projects.

Northdoor has also announced the appointment of Priyavadan Bhudia as Director of Insurance Solutions. He will work closely with Ian Diaper who leads the Applications and Consultancy team.
