James Cherry, CTO at Northdoor, said:
“This is a fantastic achievement. Northdoor is hugely supportive of the Microsoft partner community and we are delighted to have been named winner in this year’s honours with our client Addaction.
Now in their tenth year, the European IT & Software Excellence Awards 2018 attracted more than 400 entries. The awards were given for IT solutions that get to the heart of customer issues, delivering better business, a clearer understanding of data, and more efficient and profitable outcomes. A total of 43 solution providers, 36 ISVs and 57 suppliers from 29 countries were represented amongst the finalists.
The judges, with many decades of experience of IT industry involvement between them, have arrived at a list of winners that they believe truly reflects both the strength of Europe’s IT industry and many of the changes in direction occurring within it.
Paul Young Executive Director of Finance & IT at Addaction commented:
“For varying reasons, including recent austerity measures, the charity sector has gone through fundamental change over recent years, significantly impacting the effectiveness of traditional operational processes, forcing review and change to ensure the continued delivery of high quality services to recipients of services.
Upon review of our own processes, it was identified that there was an opportunity for Addaction to unlock huge value from the large amount of data that we held, via the implementation of a modernised analytics solution to help to:
• Manage our performance
• Retain and win contracts
• Demonstrate effectiveness in our services
• Evidence compliance to regulatory requirements
• Know our customers (service users) better
• Implement effective risk management
Following a thorough RFP process, Northdoor were chosen as our technology partner and successfully delivered a proof of concept, followed by the full implementation of a cloud-based analytics solution.
This state of the art solution will increase our capability to secure external funding, whilst providing a better service to our internal and external customers, in a more efficient and scalable manner.
The Northdoor team have been a pleasure to work with. Their breadth of skill-set and deep knowledge of the technologies required to deliver the project was invaluable to its success and we would happily recommend them to partner organisations.”
AJ Thompson, CCO at Northdoor commented:
“Congratulations to the team on a great win and a big thank you to Addaction, a charity making a real difference in the UK. A great cloud-based data analytics solution delivering business value for a forward thinking charity.”
Northdoor were also shortlisted for three other awards, including one for Sanctions Checker in the SaaS Enterprise Solution of the year category based on our work with Morning Data.
